Bill Purk and Reed Jones (of the Muleskinner Band) will provide a deeper understanding of American Bluegrass music using guitar, mandolin, banjo, and vocals. Starting with the “Father of Bluegrass” Bill Monroe’s first performance spot at the Grand Ole Opry in 1939, to the popularity of the Stanley Brothers, Flatts & Scruggs, and the “King of Bluegrass” Jimmy Martin in the 1960’s this energetic mountain music continues to entertain all ages today.
