Applicants can apply for new passports or get assistance with renewals by appointment only.
Please review information below to ensure you have everything you need to complete the application process. 

What to bring

  • Completed Application(Fillable DS-11 Form available at Travel.State.Gov)
  • A valid picture ID (driver’s license, military ID) and a copy of the identification front & back
  • Original or certified copy of birth certificate & a copy
  • Old passport (if applicable)
  • Naturalization papers (if applicable)
  • Passport photo (or use our photography service for a fee of $15.00)
  • Check or Money Order for payment to the U.S. Dept. of State
  • Cash, Check or Money Order for payment to the library (TMCPL)

Two separate payments are required.

  • Application fee is paid directly to the U.S. Department of State by check or money order ONLY.
  • Execution fee is paid directly to the acceptance facility (TMCPL) by cash, check or money order.

Optional Add-on fees.

  • Expedited Processing Fee - $60.00 (2-3 weeks vs 4-6 weeks)
  • 1-2 Day Application Delivery - $30.45 (Application to State Dept.)
  • 1-2 Day Passport Book Delivery - $21.36 (Passport to Applicant)
  • File Search Fee - $150.00
  • We offer photography service on-site for a fee of $15.00.

Renewing your passport?

We cannot process passport renewals, i.e. adults whose most recent passport is soon to expire or expired within the past 5 years. Visit this link to learn how you can: Renew by mail.
