Outreach and Bookmobile Services

Bookmobile: The library has a bookmobile that travels around the county visiting preschools, day cares, special needs classes, senior care facilities, neighborhoods and many others.  The bookmobile is filled with books for all ages, audio books, magazines, DVDs and more. A full schedule is available below. 

Events: The bookmobile attends local community events when the schedule allows.  Call the Outreach Services Department to request the bookmobile attend your event.

Home Bound Delivery: Can't make it to the library? The Troy-Miami County Public Library provides free delivery of all types of library materials to adults who can't get to the library on their own. Tell us what you like to read, watch & listen to and we will bring it to you once each month. Whether you need this service for a few weeks or indefinitely, Homebound Delivery will serve you.

Book Lockers: Book lockers provide convenient, contact-free access to library materials at offsite locations.  Simply reserve items through the online catalog, then choose the remote locker as the pickup location.  You'll be notified by email, call, or text when the materials are ready to pickup.

  • YMCA Robinson Branch, 3060 S. County Road 25A, Troy
  • Elizabeth Township Community Center, 5760 E. Walnut Grove Road, Troy

Talking Books: This is a service provided by the government for visually impaired people. People who qualify receive a machine and materials free of charge. Signing up for this great service can be done through the Outreach Department.
