Fall Programming in All Locations

Troy-Miami County Public Library, Troy Maker Lab, Troy Local History Library, and the Oakes-Beitman Memorial Library in Pleasant Hill offer fall programming beginning in September for all ages. Visit our event calendar for descriptions and registration information for individual programs.

Just a few examples of our fall programs are listed here. Many programs are offered on multiple times and days or at more than one branch. Youth Services offers literacy programs for young kids that include Library Stories, Baby Stories, Afternoon Book & Craft, Story Jams, and Preschool Play & Learn. School-age kids can add STEAM Lab, Pokemon Adventures, Crafty Corner, LEGO Builders, and Homeschool Bookish Group to their scheduled activities. Explore our teen programs, including the return of our Teen Advisory Board, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Taste Test Thursdays, Paint Like Bob Ross, Zine 101, and more.

This fall adults can chat at the Boozy Book Club, Shelf Aware Reading Group, or try our new Novelicious: Mystery Book Club! Other offerings include programs on Urban Legends, Paper Quilling, Photography Basics, American Sign Language, Beginning Drawing, Mindfulness, Puzzlemania, and others to satisfy your curiosity! Our creative adult program planners partner with many community members and agencies to provide a variety of choices.

Maker Lab programming is exciting and will help you become more familiar with the tools we offer to the community. Learn about Podcasting, Remote Operated Vehicles, Adobe Illustrator, 3D Printing, and more. Teens Unwound at the lab will offer a fun space for fiber arts projects and Mind Your Scrap will let creativity explode for all ages with supplies provided.

Troy Local History Library is embracing the spooky season this year with these programs: The Haunted Stacks, a Knoop Cemetery Walk, and The Troy Zone! Local history is so important and so fun.

We hope to see you all in the library soon!
